Hello everyone,
This month we are learning about our community, the buildings we can find in it, and how to give directions. We have been having so much fun practicing left, right, straight, and turn around.
Of course, we start off by reviewing our flashcards to make sure we remember all of the different buildings that are in our community.
Practicing our left and right has been hard but we have gotten so much better!
“Raise your right hand.”
“How would I get to the toy store? Would I go left, right or straight?”
“You go straight!”
After Laken finished lesson we even got to practice going to different places on the whiteboard.
“It’s so much fun!”
“What place do we go to next?”
Practicing directions during playtime is our favorite because we can dance to the Cha Cha Slide.
“Turn around.”
Helping our friends find buildings in the gym was awesome. We made the gym into a city and told our friends how to get to different places.
“Turn right!”
“Which direction should she go to find the bank?”
“She goes left!”
“I found the swimming pool!”
We all had such a good time learning about directions and different places in our community. We can’t wait to practice when we go out!
