Learning about occupations and our special paper mural! ☆ Kindy 2

Hello family and friends!

Our focus this month is on learning about occupations and their functions. We are beginning to contemplate which occupation we would prefer, and why? 

We are also discussing our parents’ occupations. This is a great way to increase self-awareness and break down some of the barriers between our world and our parents world. It also gives us a glimpse of our parents' daily life experiences.-

This knowledge can help us feel more secure about someday also having an occupation and what we can expect.

Who is this? What do they do? “It’s a train driver!”

I am a doctor!

I am a shopkeeper! “Next customer please!”

We also created a paper mural. This was yet another enjoyable activity for the week!

This was a great time! We were able to bond as a class and improve our fairgrounds vocabulary.

We have a great friendship and enjoy learning together!
