Practicing Fine Motor Skills With Scissors! ☆ Preschool

Hello there! Preschool here! Today we're showing off our fine motor skills! We've been working hard, so we wanted to try something new. 

At first, we need support from our teachers to learn how to use the scissors nicely. That means we have to look at what we're doing and work slowly. 

We can take this chance to also watch how our friends work! Open-close, open-close, open-close.

By now, we're just about ready to try on our own! With a last little bit of help, we can work independently! 

When we work alone, it's important to watch our finger placement to be sure we don't accidentally cause any harm!

As long as we can keep a good "focus face," we can cut our paper nicely with a little bit of guidance and a few adjustments!

The most important part of using scissors, however, is learning how to give them back to teachers. It's important to hold the silver part nicely so that no one gets hurt when we're passing them off! Thank you for your best effort!
