Pumpkin Creations ☆ Kindy 3

Hello everyone,

As it's October, we have been having lots of fun with halloween games and activities in class. Here are two pumpkin creations that were so much fun! First, we practiced our drawing and cutting skills with this super simple and quick jack-o'-lantern craft.

We started drawing some cute, funny or scary faces on our orange craft paper!

'So funny!'

Then we cut them into 8 strips.

Next, it was time to build our pumpkin. We put a pin at the bottom and top and connected the strips together to make a bouncy paper ball. We added a little green leaf to the top too. :)

We also carved some real jack-o'-lanterns! It was super exciting! To start, we all decided on some faces that we thought would look nice together and voted for our favorites. Then we had to scoop out the seeds! It felt a little strange, but we couldn't stop giggling!

'It feels so weird!'

Then, it was finally time to cut out the faces. It wasn't as hard as we thought it would be! We all did some cutting by ourselves.

We are all super excited for the halloween party! I can't wait to see everyone there!
