Almost There! ☆ Kindy 1

Hello everyone! We've been working extra hard these past few weeks in our practice for the Christmas Concert. We are SO excited to show you all our fun songs and dances. 

Even though our songs have lots of words, we've been doing a great job at memorizing all of the lyrics and singing loudly! Our dances have lots of different steps too, but we've been rocking it. This has been a big jump from Preschool to Kindy 1; we've learned so much and grown so much since then. Most of all, we've gained a ton of self-confidence! Even though singing and dancing can sometimes be hard, doing it with our friends is an absolute blast. 

This week, we've been using our costumes and props to practice what it will be like for the real concert. We also had the opportunity to perform one of our dances for the Preschool class. It feels so special, and we can't believe the day is almost here!

Besides singing and dancing, we've also been having picnics for lunch and hanging out with our friends. During playtime, we're working on being kind, sharing toys, and always including everyone. 

For storytime, we've been reading lots of different Christmas books. We may be biased because of our Christmas Concert song choices, but we especially enjoy stories about Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Besides Santa, he's our favorite Christmas character!

We've grown a lot this year in Kindy 1. For the past few months, we've been working especially hard on reading and sounding out words by ourselves so we can prepare for Kindy 2. We are SO proud of ourselves.
