Fun Week with English Time!

Hello! This is Tristen from Small Kids, English Time 1 and Big Kids 1! For November's English Time Fun Week, I created an educational coloring game. We learned about five country's national animal. Then, we practiced numbers in English by coloring the amount of animals per what number is on the card! After everything was all colored, we folded them up to make cards! They had the option of making a little booklet out of the cards, or keeping them as is :)

Here are some of our friends coloring a four lions. The lion is England's national animal!

Here, I am explaining to our friends that the Koi fish is Japan's national fish! Japan has a lot of different national animals, depending on the species, so I decided to choose a koi fish because they are very recognizable! :)

English Time 2 kids say "Cheeeeeeeese!" :) One friend is holding his America card! America's national animal is the bald eagle.

We did a few other countries too! We colored Siberian tigers for South Korea, and kangaroos for Australia!

In the spirit of animals, we played a game after called "Sleeping Animals." In this game, we "go to sleep", and when we wake up the teachers will say "Good morning ____!!!". We gave our students different aimals to act like! In these photos, we are acting like frogs and birds! "Good morning birds!" :)
