Keeping Our Hands Busy ☆ Kindy 3

Hello everyone,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fun and relaxing winter holiday. It was great hearing from everyone in Kindy 3 about where you went, what you did, and the time you spent with your families.

This month, we’ll have fun with playdough, making different shapes and objects. Playing with playdough is fun and creative, and by rolling, squishing, and shaping it, kids can also strengthen their hands and improve dexterity and coordination.

Today in class, we had some free time to use our imaginations and make anything we wanted. It was a lot of fun, and everyone was so excited to play with the playdough. At first, I hoped it would be a quiet activity we could do as a class to move our hands, relax our minds, and wind down after lunchtime. However, it quickly became clear that it was impossible to keep it quiet, as everyone was having so much fun and excitedly shouting across the table to show their friends what they had made.

"It's a snake!"

"It's a tomb! Inside a pyramid!"

"Cute, right? "

Wasn't it so fun, everyone? Let's use the playdough again next time and do some games and activities. Let's have a great rest of the year together, Kindy 3.
