Pharaoh Fashion ☆ Kindy 3

Hello everyone,

Continuing with our theme of ancient Egypt from last week's blog, this week in class we created some awesome ancient Egyptian costumes. We made a collar and bracelets similar to the ones a pharaoh or other important person might have worn around 5,000 years ago. They were made of gold or beads and decorated artistically with gems and hieroglyphs.

After looking at some pictures of real ancient Egyptian collars and bracelets, we used paint markers to draw on our golden accessories. Everyone had the freedom to creatively design their own patterns and look.

Once they were finished, they looked something like this!

"Cute, right?"

Here they are! Everyones designs were so unique and creative, and they all looked really cool. It was a fun way for us to spend an afternoon expressing our inner artists, while also learning a little about what kinds of things people used to wear in ancient Egypt.
