Telling the time ☆ Kindy 2

Hello everyone,

This month we are working on how to tell time. We have been learning how to read a clock and what each number means. 

We made sure to show the teachers we knew where the clock was in class. 

"It's right there."

"Does anyone know if the long hand points to hours or minutes?"

"I know! It's minutes."

We even got to make our very own clocks! We made sure to only color the numbers so we could still read them. 

"You can use my light blue."

Once we finished our clocks we went to the mat to try and tell the time that Laken wrote on the whiteboard. 

We were all very focused and tried our best to remember which hand went to hours and minutes. 

Sometimes it was a little difficult, so we asked Laken for some help. 

"If you move the long hand to the 6, then you will be correct!"

As long as you keep practicing I know you will get the hang of it.
