The Floor is Lava! ☆ Kindy 3

Hello everyone! This week in the gym we played a game I used to play as a kid all the time. It's called 'The Floor is Lava'. You have to jump around on different obstacles or stepping stones and get from one end of a room to the other. You can't touch the floor because the floor is lava! It's a great way to practice balancing and moving our whole body. There is also a fun TV show with the same name.

We started on yellow and had to jump our way across the rocks to safety!

"Go, go~ You can do it!"

"Uh oh, you touched the lava. Back to the start!"

"We're almost there!"

We all made it! Good job!

P.S. We have been learning all about birds this month. We can name more than 20 different birds now! The other day we learned about migration which is where birds or other animals will go on long journeys around the world to find food or have babies, usually because winter is too cold. We looked at a globe to see just how far some birds will fly, and how long it can take. Did you know there is one bird that will fly from the Arctic to Antarctica and back again, every year? Amazing!
