Hello from Kindy 1!

We've been having a lot of fun this July. We shared what we did over our vacations, and then we got right back to learning and playing! This past week, we learned how to write the letter "J," both big and small!

We've been getting so much better at writing and we are SO proud of ourselves. The curved part of the "J" was a little tricky, but we tried our best! Every time we learn a new letter, we go over the phonetic sound for that letter and we review some words that start with that letter. This time, we learned that "jellyfish," "jet," "jacket," and "jar" all start with the letter "J."

This Monday, we also got a special dance lesson from HIPPO! We had SO much fun! We stretched our bodies and learned a whole new dance in only thirty minutes. Check out our moves!

And of course, as always, we've been having fun in the sun at the pool. We love to line up our rubber duckies and count how many we have!
