Digging Up Fun! ☆ Kindy 1

Hello everyone. Kindy 1 here! We had a blast last week on our fieldtrip to the farm, and we wanted to tell you all about it!

First, we took a long bus ride to get to our destination, but we had a lot of fun on the way. We sang lots of songs and talked about how many potatoes we wanted to dig up. We were so excited for the day ahead.

Then, after we got to the farm, it was finally time to pick our potatoes! The farmers there were very kind and helped us dig up lots of potatoes. We were surprised at how difficult it was to pull the potatoes up from the ground but together, we persevered. 

We found SO many potatoes. We were so proud of ourselves!

After some hard work on the farm, it was time to eat lunch! We enjoyed a lovely picnic in the shade with Kindy 2 and Kindy 3. It was nice to hang out with our friends who we don’t see as often. And we were extra hungry after all that digging.

Finally, we got to play on the playground at the park nearby. There were swings, a bridge, slides, and so much more. Our lunch gave us enough energy to play for almost an hour, and we definitely made the most of it!

On our way back to school, we ate a some snacks and talked about how much fun we had that day. It was a lot of work, but it was so worth it. Thanks for tuning in this week!
