Relax and Create ☆ Kindy 3
2024/12/12
Hello everyone,
Thank you to those who were able to attend our Christmas concert on Saturday! We worked hard to showcase our talents, and it was so much fun. However, by the end of each day of practice, we were definitely feeling a little tired. This week, we finally had the chance to relax, play, and return to our regular IKA schedule. We went outside, exercised in the gym, and did some creative activities to improve our dexterity and get our hands moving.
We made little Christmas trees out of origami paper to decorate our classroom for the holidays. We started by drawing little ornaments and pictures to decorate them.
Then we cut them into strips that we could fold and glue into a Christmas tree shape.
And we learned how to make an origami star, which we glued onto the tops of our trees.
All done!
Today, we had a bit of extra time, so we spent it drawing. We drew snowflakes, which was a great way to practice using a ruler for straight lines, as well as working on symmetry and patterns in our artwork.
Just like us, each snowflake is unique and beautiful! It was wonderful to see everyone's original drawings and creativity shine through.
