An International Craft for our International Kids ☆ Kindy 3
2025/03/20
Hello everyone,
It's our last week in Kindy 3, and graduation is coming up on Saturday! It's an exciting time, but also a little bittersweet as we prepare to say goodbye. This year has flown by—time really does fly when you're having fun!
For our final week, aside from practicing for graduation, we've been playing games and making a special craft. Since we've spent the year learning all about our Earth, we created a paper-mâché globe. It represents our journey as international students, exploring the world through English.
To start, we covered a balloon with paper-mâché using newspaper, glue, and water.
It was sticky, messy, and a whole lot of fun! Once we had enough layers of newspaper and it was finally dry, it was time to paint the continents. We did our best to paint all seven—but some of us added a few extra, because painting is just too fun!
Then, we painted our oceans...
Lastly, we removed the balloon inside, painted Antarctica, and labelled our continents and oceans.
We also used paint markers to draw some cute pictures on them, adding our own special touches. Each finished Earth looks wonderful, and no two are exactly alike!
This will be our final Kindy 3 blog. Thank you all for an amazing year! Let’s make our graduation ceremony on Saturday a truly special one! 🎉
