Growing Our Own Lettuce! ☆ Kindy 1

Hello friends and family! 

A few weeks ago, Kindy 1 rolled up their sleeves and dug into a hands-on gardening adventure by planting their very own lettuce. From tiny seeds to vibrant green leaves, Kindy 1 carefully watered our lettuce and watched it grow! 

Every time we went outside, we eagerly checked our garden, watered the soil, and watched the growing sprouts. As the weeks passed, the lettuce flourished under our care, turning our little garden into a leafy patch.

Eventually with clean hands and big smiles, Kindy 1 picked their lettuce, washed it, and turned it into a simple salad.

The best part was getting to taste the fruits (or leaves!) of our labour. Many children tried the lettuce with some dressing and were surprised at how tasty something homegrown could be. 

Super yummy!!

This project not only introduced healthy eating habits but also taught responsibility, patience, and the magic of nature.
