Father's Day Posters ☆ Kindy 3

Hello, everyone.

This week, Kindy 3 made posters for Father’s Day. Everyone received a set of shapes with drawing prompts, such as “My favorite memory with my dad” and “My dad’s favorite food.” We thought carefully about what to write, then drew pictures to match. We also drew big pictures of our dads to add to the posters. 

Everyone had big smiles on their faces as we talked about our dads and shared memories, while coloring cute pictures.

'My favorite thing to do with my dad is eat barbecue!'

'My dad is so good at sports!'

'I like fishing with my dad!'

'My dad loves potato chips!'

'I want to go to Okinawa with my dad!'

'I love to play with my dad!'

'I want to play games with Dad!'

'My favorite memory with Dad is of Disney Sea!'

'I want to watch a movie with my dad!'

'I want to play UNO with Dad!'

'I want to go to barbecue with Dad, too!'

After we finished writing and coloring our pictures, we glued our favorite ones onto a poster. Some of us liked them all so much that we couldn’t choose and glued all of them on.

'Daddy loves spaghetti!'

'I love you, Dad! You are so cool!'

Once we finished adding our pictures to the posters, we had fun decorating the space around them with drawings and colors, or cute messages to Dad.

It was so lovely to hear everyone in Kindy 3 talk about how much they love their dads and share their favorite memories with them. It was funny to see all the different favorite foods and hobbies, and so sweet to hear what Kindy 3 wants to do with their dads.
