Lesson Time in the Gym! ☆ Preschool

Hello there, everyone! Preschool is here to show off a new sort of lesson! These past few Tuesdays, we've been in the gym doing some very energetic activities for our lessons!

The first type of lesson we did, involved listening to what color ball we were supposed to find and then counting along with our teachers and friends.

We had a lot of fun running around the gym hunting down the color we were supposed to find. It was a good exercise in both listening closely and using teamwork!

Even though we've only learned to count up to 20 so far in class, there were so many balls we were able to count many more than that! It was a good experience in hearing bigger numbers as well!

Another lesson we did in the gym was a relay with our fruits flashcards! We ran in between our teachers, giving the flashcard and the answer once we've returned to the starting line!

We had a wonderful time hustling back and forth!

We had quite a bit of fun running in the gym during a lesson as we are meant to walk nicely in the classroom. It was good to get our energy out this way!

To round out our playtime, we played a round of basketball! This game worked on our hand-eye coordination as well as our ability to share and take turns! Basketball seemed to be super popular, so we want to try more often!

That wraps up our gym lesson time for now! When it's so hot outside, it's a perfect way to run around safely! Amazing job, preschool! Let's try again soon!
