Dodgeball Showdown ☆ Kindy 3

Hello, everyone.

As you may know, on Fridays, Kindy 2 and Kindy 3 eat lunch together in the Kindy 3 classroom. After lunch, we have mixed playtime, and sometimes that means a dodgeball showdown in the gym! Recently, Both classes have been practicing their throwing and catching skills. A class vs. class dodgeball match is the perfect way to show off what we’ve learned and enjoy a fun, friendly competition.

Win or lose, everyone has a great time—and both classes are always asking, “Can we play dodgeball today?” Here are some photos of our matches on Friday.

"Ready... Set... Go!"

At the start, the gym is packed and the action is fast—there are so many players that it's tricky to dodge and easy to get tagged! As the game goes on and only a few players are left, the excitement really builds. Everyone’s on their feet, cheering and shouting as the final few battle it out.

This week’s winners were Kindy 3! But Kindy 2 put up an amazing fight—in two of the games, it came down to just one or two players left on each team. It was so close! Next time we play, who knows who will come out on top?

Sometimes, players get out early and don’t have much time on the court. And with so many people playing, not everyone gets a chance to throw the ball. So today at playtime, Kindy 3 headed to the gym for a special dodgeball session to practice their catching skills. In this version of the game, if you catch the ball, a teammate who’s out gets to come back in—making it even more fun and encouraging everyone to try and catch the ball!

Everyone had a fantastic time practicing their throwing and catching skills and playing together. It’s wonderful to see how much teamwork, cheering, and laughter fill the gym during dodgeball time. We’re already looking forward to the next game!
