Our Family Trees! ☆ Kindy 1

This month in Kindy 1, we have been learning about the different people in our family and the names of family members in English. We had lots of discussions about who the members of our families are and how we are related or connected.

As a culmination of our work, we asked our families to provide family photos which we could turn into a family tree of our own! As much as we wanted to include many members of our family, we focused on our immediate family; grandmas, grandpas, mummys, daddys, sisters and brothers. 

We started with colouring our family tree, making sure to colour nicely inside the lines and not inside the circles that had pictures of different family members.

Once our trees were coloured, we carefully stuck our family members down in the correct spots. During this process, we were able to see our friend's family members, which was super fun! We were excited to share stories about our family members with our friends!

We are so proud of our family trees!
