Getting Ready for Our Field Trip ☆ Kindy 1

In a few weeks time, Kindy 1 will be heading to the fire station for our second field trip!
In September, we have begun learning about community and the different places in our community! This includes places like IKA, supermarkets, train stations, police stations and, of course, the fire station!
We have been talking about what we like to do in our community and what it means to be a part of the community.
In order to get ready for our field trip we are practicing walking safely around the streets surrounding IKA. We put our orange hats and water bottles on and away we went!
In order to walk safely, we are:
- Listening to teachers!
- Holding hands with our partners!
- Staying inside the white line on the road!
- Looking forwards when walking!
Kindy 1 is excited to go to the fire station and see the different places in our community on the way. Let's keep practising our safe walking so that we can go to the fire station and return to IKA safely!
