Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! ☆ Kindy 1

In September, we learned about 'Recycling' in Kindy 1!
We learned how to recycle, what we can reuse and what we can make if we reuse different materials.
Kindy 1 discovered that many things we usually throw away can have a new life. If we put paper, plastic, and cans into special recycling bins, these items can be turned into something new. It’s like magic!
We also learnt how to reuse materials for fun art project like how we used toilet rolls to make bunny rabbits!
To make our bunny rabbits, we used coloured markers to draw the eyes, noses and ears for our rabbit!
We also got to stick a little pompom on the back of our toilet roll to make a tail! So cute!!!
When they were done, we were able to PLAY!
It was so exciting being able to make a new toy out of something that would otherwise be thrown out. Reusing materials is important in order to help the environment but also super, super fun!
