Christmas Party! ☆ Small Kids
2026/01/06
Hello family and friends!
Welcome back and happy new year! We hope you had a wonderful time over the break. We are so excited to start the year together!
We seeing loved everyone at our Christmas party! It was great to see everyone having so much fun together, so let's look back at some of our favorite moments.
We began by making Santa masks, and they turned out fantastic. We used cotton and pompoms to create Santa's face, carefully choosing where to place each piece. It was so much fun creating these masks alongside our parents, and everyone was very proud of how they turned out!
Next we played a game. First we had to find the Christmas ornaments in the snow. “Dig, dig, dig!” Once we found the ornament we could stick it on the Christmas tree. We loved decorating the tree with lots of colorful ornaments.
After that, we played a Christmas favorite: Pass the Parcel. We sat together in a circle and passed the parcel while the Christmas songs played. When the music stopped, the lucky person holding the parcel got to unwrap one layer to see what was inside!
Each layer contained a surprise - either a carrot, a cookie, or a gift. We then had to decide whether to feed the cookie or carrot to Santa or Rudolph the reindeer. Some of us chose to give the carrot to Santa, deciding to make a healthy choice!
Next, we performed 'Jingle Bells' to our parents using bells. We had been practicing this for a while so we were excited to finally show everyone!
Then we could hear some bells ringing. “Can you hear that?” “Who could it be?”
It was Santa Claus! “Ho, ho, ho!” We were so happy and excited to see him and he had come with a sack full of presents for us!
We had so much fun at our Christmas party!
