Team Builders ☆ Kindy 1

Hello again from Kindy 1!

This month in Science we are learning all about construction! 

We are learning words like 'building', 'skyscraper', 'bridge', and 'tower' and discussing where we see those kinds of constructions in Nagoya, Japan, and beyond. 

During one of our lessons, we were split into teams and tasked with making some different constructions! We were each given 3 building blocks and had to work together to build our constructions. 

First, we had to make a bridge! 

We worked together to make bridges that were strong (and interesting). 

Here were our finished bridges!

We then had to make towers as tall as possible! 

We had to think about which pieces to put on the bottom and top so that it would balance nicely. 

Here are our wonderful towers we built!

For a challenge, we decided to see if we could make a skyscraper using a block from everyone in Kindy 1, so 21 blocks! 

We tried our best, it was super tall! (But did fall over TT) 

We had lots of fun building and constructing our towers, bridges and skyscrapers!
