Times Table Bingo! ☆ Kindy 3
2026/03/09
Hello, everyone.
Recently in Kindy 3, we have been so busy preparing for graduation. It feels like it has been a long time since we have done a regular lesson in class. Today, we played Bingo to practice multiplication.
As a class, we went through the times table from 1x1 up to 6x6. Using those numbers, we filled in our blank Bingo sheets. Once everyone chose their winning numbers, we rolled two dice and those two numbers multiplied gave us the answers on our bingo sheets.
"Two times three. Everyone, what is two times three?"
"It's six! I have it!"
"Four times five... Twenty! Do you have twenty?"
"Look! I have two reaches!"
"Reach! I got reach, too!"
"Bingo! I got bingo!"
Multiplication can be difficult, but it doesn't have to be! Just keep practing counting in 2s, 3s, 4s and so on. Remember to use your fingers as you count! 3, 6, 9, 12... That's four fingers, so 3x4 = 12!
If you have trouble counting in 3s or 4s, use your fingers for that, too! When counting in 4s, use four fingers at a time. One, two, three, FOUR, five, six, seven, EIGHT, nine, ten, eleven, TWELVE...
When you are really good at it, why not practice on your own by rolling a couple dice. It can be a lot of fun!
