Learning about South Africa! ☆ Kindy 1

Today in Kindy 1 we learnt about South Africa! We have been learning about many different countries over the past couple months and are finishing out our learnings with a country that is particularly special. South Africa is where one of our new teachers is from! She told us all about South Africa and what the flag colours meant, it was so interesting!
One thing we like about South Africa is the animals there, so we decided to do a craft with animals and a beautiful sunset.
Once we were ready, Megumi showed us how to paint the sunset using a scraper tool to drag the paint from left to right!
Off we go!
Scrape! Scrape! Scrape!
Once we painted, we stuck animals down onto the paint. We had elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, cheetahs and gorillas to choose from!

We got our hands very dirty too!
We added our lion and flag to our world map too! We have explored so many countries in Kindy 1!
