Growing Skills: From Letters to Life Skills ⭐︎ Kindy 1

This week in Kindy 1, our students have been busy developing both their fine motor skills and their understanding of important real-life safety routines. 

During writing time, the students practiced how to hold a pencil correctly and carefully traced the letters of the alphabet, building confidence and control with each stroke.

It was wonderful to see their focus and determination as they worked hard to improve their skills.

We also introduced an important life skill by practicing our earthquake drill. The students learned how to safely protect themselves by covering their heads and staying low, and they did an excellent job following instructions.

The students did an excellent job staying safe while putting on their disaster prevention hoods and lined up calmly.

Kindy 1 did a fantastic job following instructions and taking the drill seriously, showing growing confidence in how to keep themselves safe. 
It has been a fantastic week of growth, as our learners continue to build both academic skills and awareness of how to stay safe.
