Gardening and an Egg Hunt ☆ Kindy 3
2025/04/21
Hello, everyone.
Two weeks ago Kindy 3 rolled their sleeves up and got their hands dirty. We planted lettuce seeds together with Kindy 2, outside. Everyone had a job to do.
First, we placed small rocks at the bottom of our planter to help the water drain.
Then we filled the planters with garden soil.
Last came the lettuce seeds. We all helped to put some in.
We covered the seeds with dirt and watered everything. Now all that's left is to leave them in the sunlight and wait for our lettuce to grow!
Since it was Easter this weekend, on Friday we had an Easter egg hunt in the play area. We had a great time running around and digging through buckets of toys looking for the eggs.
"Are you ready? Go!"
I wonder where they could be.... can you see them?
'I got one!'
'Me too!'
Once everybody had found an egg, we went back to the classroom to look inside.
'Look, stickers!'
It wasn't much, but it was a fun way to finish our week and experience the joy of the Easter holiday. I hope everyone in Kindy 3 will remember Easter even after they graduate and start elementary school.
