Curious Explorers, Big Adventures ☆ Kindy 2

Dear family and friends,

This month, Kindy 2 been diving into the fascinating world of animals! We've been learning to describe different animals by exploring their unique characteristics, what they eat, and where they live. 

We've also been having thoughtful discussions about our favorite animals, sharing our opinions, and practicing using descriptive language to talk about them. One of the most exciting parts? Learning vocabulary while playing fun games! 

Learning about animals is not only engaging for young minds, but it also helps build essential skills in observation, critical thinking, and language development. It sparks curiosity, encourages empathy for living creatures, and lays the foundation for understanding the natural world around us.

To make this learning even more exciting, we’re looking forward to a special field trip to the zoo! In preparation, each student chose an animal from our growing vocabulary list, drew a picture of it, and then located it on a real zoo map. This fun and interactive activity helped us connect what we’re learning in the classroom to the real world and it’s building anticipation for our upcoming zoo adventure!
