Crafts for our Un-bee-lievable Dads ☆ Small Kids

Hello family and friends!

To celebrate Father’s Day, we created a very special craft that’s just as sweet and one-of-a-kind as our amazing dads!

We began by rolling up our sleeves and pant legs because things we going to get a little messy. Our teachers painted our feet with yellow and black stripes. The paint brush tickled a little bit and made us laugh and wiggle our toes!

Once our feet were painted, we stamped them onto the paper to create a stripey footprint. “3…2…1…stamp!” 

After that, it was time to clean up. Our teachers helped us scrub our feet using the hose to make sure we didn’t get paint everywhere! “Wash, wash, wash.” 

Next came the decorations! We used a glue stick to make the wings sticky. Then we carefully added the wings to both sides of our footprint. “Stick, stick, stick.” It started to look more like a bee!

We then added colorful flowers to decorate the background. We sometimes found it challenging to stick them to the paper because they decided to stick to our fingers instead, but we got better after sticking more and more!
