Little Artists ☆ Kindy 2

In May, Kindy 2 children learned about Nature. We disussed and learned about different places in nature such as the beach, the forest, the desert, and grasslands. After we learnt about these places and what they look like, we discussed and learned about the different animals that live there. The children were really good at corretly guessing the habitats of the animals. 

We looked at different animals from these places in nature, and paid attention to what color each one was. Then each of the children got 2 animals that they had to color in.

Once the children colored in their animals, they were divided into groups to work on creating and decorating the nature backgrounds for their animals. They each got color card which they had to tear into smaller pieces and glue onto the correct parts of their background. For example, blue for the sky and ocean, and green for the grass.

Once the bakgrounds were completed, we added the animals to their correct habitat and displayed the beautiful completed artwork on the wall in our Kindy 2  classroom.
