Artists at work ☆ Kindy 2

Kindy 2 has been exploring diferent methods of art, and this month we have also been learning about colors in maths. We discussed what happens when we mix different colors together, and the children got to experiment with colors by dipping coffee filters into blue and green, and red and yellow. This activity was a part of an art project that the children have been working on, and we are exited to see the final results.
The children were so excited to dip their coffee filters into the different colors and waited in anticipation to see what would happen when we opened them.
Some children hesitated to get their hands dirty with paint, while other's were delighted and couldn't wait to get their hands full of paint!
Finally, our coffee filters were dry enough for the children to see the results of our activity and experiment. We will add these as the clothes onto our final art projects. We cannot wait for you to see!
