☆Kindy 1☆ Gets Active and Creative!
2026/06/16
This week, Kindy 1 had lots of fun getting active and creative through a variety of engaging activities!
Kindy 1 were excited to be introduced to dodgeball for the first time. They practised their overhand throwing skills, learning how to aim and throw with greater control while participating in simple team games. Through dodgeball, Kindy 1 developed their gross motor skills, coordination, listening skills, and understanding of teamwork as they worked together and encouraged one another.
Kindy 1 also prepared a special Father’s Day gift. They carefully decorated cups using colourful stickers and drew pictures of their fathers to personalise their creations. Kindy 1 took great care in decorating their cups and were excited to create a special gift for Father’s Day. This activity encouraged creativity and self-expression as Kindy 1 created a meaningful keepsake for their fathers.
Kindy 1 also practised writing the letter ‘B’ and ‘b’. The children carefully traced and wrote both uppercase and lowercase letters while learning words that begin with the letter ‘B’, such as ‘banana, buttons, balloon, and butterfly’. They showed great concentration as they worked on correct letter formation and pencil control, building confidence in their early literacy skills.
We are so proud of Kindy 1 for showing such enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity throughout the week! 🌟
☆☆ Well done Kindy 1! ☆☆
