Spooky Scary Skeletons ☆ Kindy 3
2026/10/28
Happy Halloween!
It's that time of year again, and Kindy 3 have been busy making lots of Halloween crafts to decorate our classroom!
Last week, you saw the jack-o'-lanterns we made. We've also been painting our haunted house and creating lots of fun Halloween characters out of pipe cleaners to decorate it. We even made some fun skeletons to hang up in our classroom! Take a look!
We started by drawing our skeletons' faces, and everyone had fun coming up with their own designs! Some skeletons looked scary, others were funny, sad or cute. We even drew a different face on each side, so we could give our skeletons two different personalities!
Next, it was time to put the heads together and build our skeletons' bodies! We made paper rings and taped them closed, then linked them together to make the bodies, arms and legs. Once everyone got the hang of connecting the rings, it became a fun and relaxing activity.
Crafts like this are also a great way to practise using our hands and fingers as we fold, connect and tape the little paper rings together.
It took a little time, but slowly our skeletons began to take shape! Once the arms and legs were long enough, we added some simple paper hands and feet to finish them off. And just like that, they were all done! Check out our spooky, scary skeletons!
We’ve had lots of fun getting ready for Halloween! We hope you enjoy seeing our spooky decorations. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Halloween party this Saturday!
